Full Professor of Strategy Innovation at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Department of Management, Carlo Bagnoli is Director of the School of Management of the Ca' Foscari Challenge School, and Founder and Scientific Director of the SIM - Strategy Innovation Master. He is as well member of the Territorial Council of the Veneto Region at Intesa Sanpaolo, Coordinator of Fondazione Univeneto, member of the Management Board at SMACT Competence Center and member of the Management Committee and Chairman of the Science and Technology Committee of the R.I.R (regional innovation network) of the Region of Veneto, Smart Destinations in The Land of Venice - 2026. He is Founder and Scientific Director of the university spin-off Strategy Innovation Srl and he is the Co-founder of the university spin-off Digital Strategy Innovation Srl. Ever since active in scientific research in support of business activities, Carlo Bagnoli develops transformation projects for Italian companies in a creative, innovative and provocative way, additionally adopting a highly certified methodology, constantly progressing and updating it. He is the author of 80 scientific papers and 7 monographies, and his last book on total business is “Alla ricerca dell’impresa totale. Uno sguardo comparativo su arti, psicoanalisi, management” - Edizioni Ca’ Foscari.

More than 500 Projects all over the world with consolidate experience on strategy , organization and governance, marketing, sales, digital, innovation, M&A, retail and sustainability, in particular in Consumer Goods, Fashion &Luxury, Travel&Tourism, Private Equity, Media, Health care and Social Impact Sectors. Ca’ Foscari: since 2021 Member of the Board and Strategic Planning Visiting Professor. Unilever: from 1986 to 1989 in Product Marketing roles Projects for the City of Venice: Co-founder with Professor Bagnoli of VeniSIA Project, Start up Accelerator in the Historical City of Venice focused on Sustainability themes. (2020-21); Author of the Industrial Plan for the relaunch and the repopulation of the City of Venice at the base of the Project named “Venice worldwide Capital of Sustainability”(2020-2021) for which plays currently the overall operational Coordination role. Education & personal notes: MBA at INSEAD, Fontainebleau; Laurea cum laude in Business Management at Cà Foscari. Born and resident in Venice, married, 3 daughters. Active sportsman, travelled in more than 50 countries, and lived 4 years in France.
Maria Claudia Pignata
Senior manager with a twenty-year experience in marketing and business internationalization, managing investments and training programs for innovation in private and public ventures in Italy, UK, Middle East and Africa (South Africa, Mozambique). Main experiences at the Milan Chamber of Commerce, The World Bank Group and the Region of Veneto. Previously owner of an event agency based in Milan and Adjunct Professor of Cultural Events Design in a private university in Rome. She holds a Master’s Degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences (Gorizia) and a Specializing Master in Strategy Innovation (Venice).
Acceleration Program Director
Claudio Colombo is a 15+ years experienced professional in the Digital Environment & Startup ecosystem and has always worked in the Innovation. He is the founder of EU Web Agency – a Digital Agency based in London – and Founder & Program Manager of it's campus, a startup accelerator based in London where start-ups, entrepreneurship, innovation, training and education meet and support each other.
Acceleration Program Analyst
Volunteer, sportsman and musician. He graduated in Administration, Finance and Control at Ca' Foscari University of Venice developing a thesis aiming for the analysis of optimal methodologies for technological and strategic acceleration, with a personal focus and interest in the impact they have on social, generational and lifestyle acceleration processes. Before he has been assistant professor for a Master course at Ca' Foscari University, practicing accountant and Business Analyst for a strategic innovation consulting firm.
Currently Business Analyst in VeniSIA, Giorgia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business developing a thesis on Reshoring, and a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, both with honors from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. The Master’s Degree thesis was focused on the analysis of more than 80 strategic tools and frameworks that have been developed since the birth of business strategy in the early 1960s, evaluating their placement within the Strategy Palette. She has been also Teaching Assistant for a Master’s Degree course at Ca' Foscari University.
Junior Business Analyst
Currently Junior Business Analyst in VeniSIA. After his MSc in Management, Innovation & Marketing, he joined national programs in Open Innovation as Junior Consultant and Project Manager, focusing on Sustainability through AI and IoT solutions. During his academic journey, he has been mentioned by local press for his startup idea to solve depopulation of commercial activities in city centers.
Junior Communication Specialist
After graduating in Language, Civilisation and Science of Language at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, she moved to Paris to pursue her studies in Literature, Arts and Contemporary Thinking. Curious and dynamic, she believes in the power of interdisciplinarity and contamination, which pushed her to approach sustainability issues and strategic business consulting. Currently Junior Communication Specialist for a B2B and B2C consulting firm, previously she took part in an academic research project on the impact of scenario techniques and future studies on business models.
